Quality & Testing

Every batch of research material we supply is analyzed by an independent third-party laboratory. The results are documented on a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (COA), which accompanies every order and is also available on each product listing.

Testing methodology

  • HPLC purity analysis — High-Performance Liquid Chromatography is the primary method for purity quantification. Each chromatogram identifies the target peptide peak and any impurity peaks; purity is reported as the ratio of target peak area to total peak area.
  • Identity confirmation — Mass spectrometry confirms that the observed molecular mass matches the theoretical mass calculated from the published amino acid sequence.
  • Appearance & physical state — Visual inspection confirms the lyophilized powder is uniform, free of discoloration, and free of visible particulate matter.

Specifications

  • Minimum HPLC purity: 99% for peptide content
  • Identity confirmed by mass spectrometry against theoretical mass
  • Batch-specific reporting (no mixed-lot COAs)
  • Acceptance criteria documented per batch

Independent laboratory partner

Analyses are performed by independent, accredited third-party laboratories rather than in-house testing. The name and accreditation of the testing laboratory are documented on each Certificate of Analysis.

Reading a Certificate of Analysis

Each COA documents the following batch-level information:

  • Product identity — peptide name and reference name
  • Batch / lot number and date of analysis
  • Form (typically lyophilized powder)
  • HPLC purity (percentage of total peak area)
  • Mass spectrometry result (observed vs. theoretical mass)
  • Appearance
  • Laboratory acceptance criteria and pass / fail status

A COA is provided solely for batch documentation and listed laboratory parameters. It does not indicate suitability for any use outside qualified laboratory research.

Storage and chain of custody

Lyophilized material is stored under controlled conditions from receipt through shipment, at −20 °C unless batch documentation specifies otherwise. Cold-chain packaging is used for shipment where required. Receiving laboratories are responsible for storage in accordance with their own institutional protocols.

Inspecting your shipment

Visually inspect every shipment on receipt. If any material appears damaged, discolored, or otherwise compromised, contact info@certifiedpeptides.health within 48 hours with photographs and the order number. Replacement or refund (including shipping) is issued for confirmed quality issues.

Continuous improvement

Our analytical workflow and laboratory partnerships are reviewed regularly to ensure ongoing alignment with established research-supply standards. Concerns regarding documentation accuracy or batch quality can be reported to the contact email above and are investigated within 5 business days.
